We have pulled together some of the top UK attractions which feature your favourite animals, where you can learn more about the creatures and also take part in fun activities!

Redwings Horse Sanctuary in locations nationwide

Redwings Horse Sanctuary is welcoming visitors to Redwings Caldecott, near Great Yarmouth, and Redwings Aylsham, north of Norwich.

The centres are open every weekend, Friday to Monday from 10am. Paddock walks will close at 3.30pm, but gift shops and cafés remain open until 4pm.

Entry is free although donations towards the charity’s work are always gratefully received.

Dogs on leads are very welcome.

Stratford-upon-Avon Butterfly Farm in Warwickshire

Rainforest Realm is a new exhibition which features animals that originate from the rainforests of Central America.

At the heart of the exhibition is a replicated ‘cenote’, complete with a water cascade, basking area and a deep and a shallow pool. The creatures you may typically find in and around a cenote are butterflies, frogs, iguana’s and crocodiles!

On display within the cenote at Stratford Butterfly Farm is a magnificent male Spectacled Caiman.
