Longdown Activity Farm is a fantastic day out for the whole family. There is a daily schedule of activities which includes kid goat and calf bottle-feeding, small animal handling and duck feeding.
Don’t miss the Animal Encounter Barn and there are lots more animals to see! Explore the brilliant farmyard buildings, go on the great bumpy tractor ride (ground conditions permitting) and have fun at the five indoor and outdoor play areas.
There is a Straw Den and Trampoline Barn to burn off all that energy! There’s also a super soft play area, a sand pit, and an infant’s play room, which means there is lots of fun to be had whatever the weather. Have a go on the climbing frame, slide, and swings outside. Everyone will enjoy a game of ping pong too! There are also pedal go-karts, ride-ons for toddlers, and fun diggers for a nominal charge.
Would you like to be a farmer for the day? If you are aged 8 to 14, you can help the team at Longdown run the farm! Enjoy a good day’s work and lots of fun with activities that might include cleaning out the pig sties, grooming ponies or mixing goat feed. In fact, doing whatever a real farmer has to do. Booking is essential for this activity and there is a separate cost involved.
When it is time for refreshments, the lovely tearoom has indoor and outdoor seating and there are also lots of picnic tables situated around the farm. You can warm up babies’ bottles or jars of food and high chairs are available. Best of all, you can celebrate your special day and have a birthday party at Longdown, where Farmer Bryan will entertain the special birthday person and their guests with a variety of non-stop, hands-on farming activities.
Longdown Activity Farm are proud to supply a Changing Places facility which offers disabled guests (or anyone who has a need for the equipment) an adult-sized changing bed, a lifting hoist and an adapted toilet.
On your way out visit the Longdown Farm Shop which stocks a wide range of delicious, locally produced food. Check out the Longdown website for their fabulous events, which run throughout the year. Season tickets to visit this delightful farm are very good value and can be purchased online.

Don't miss all the spooky fun at this great farm in Hampshire. Held from the 24th to the 31st of October.
Took my daughter (3 year old) to the farm on Saturday 03/08/2019, and what a fantastic place this is to visit and well geared up for children. We had an amazing time seeing all the animals and my daughter loved it, from feeding the baby calves to trying to count how many ducks she could see. They have a wide range of farm animals where you can get up close and a fantastic outdoor play park for the children to run around and enjoy. We started by getting a idea of our surroundings and then went on an 'old McDonald had a farm adventure' naming all animals we could see. This is great place to take your children and also a way to see how farm animals are cared for and looked after. The good thing about this Farm is you do not feel overwhelmed and you don't get the feeling you could miss out on an activity, the areas are well placed and good for the little ones to wonder. the trampoline park and indoor play got a big thumbs up, but the best in farm reward goes to the Guinea Pigs (my daughters review) I will be taking my daughter back for another visit. Many thanks a very Happy Daddy.
