Basildon Park is one of the lovely family days out in Berkshire. This Georgian mansion was restored in the 1950s and has many treasures to discover. There is also an interesting 1950s kitchen. Outside is a beautiful garden complete with a mini maze and 400 acres of glorious parkland to explore with waymarked walks and a picnic spot.
