Each family raceday features a range of free, themed activities for children of all ages, from fairground rides and arts and crafts to balloon modellers, activity trails and animal encounters – making it a great day out for the whole family.
Children go free with a full-paying adult, while adult tickets for family racedays start from £24. Group discounts available when booking for seven adults or more.
Located close to the M3, M4, M40 and M25 motorways and just a 50-minute train journey from London, Ascot Racecourse is easily accessible to visitors regardless of their departure point.

Family Firework Fun Day
We visited Ascot Racecourse for the family firework day and it was brilliant! We arrived at 12pm and the children enjoyed a great variety of free fairground rides and activities (after 4pm the rides were just £1). There was also a showing of the Greatest Showman in the afternoon. Whilst the children were entertained, the adults enjoyed placing some bets on the horse races (and even had a little win!). There was a great food selection available all day and plenty of benches and places to sit for picnics. The fireworks began at 6pm and were incredible! All set to music, it was a fantastic display. All in all a brilliant day out. Highly recommend!
