A fabulous adventure park and zoo, Folly Farm in Pembrokeshire is jam-packed with family activities and is one of the most popular kids days out in South Wales.
Start your visit in the Jolly Barn and Farm, home to a host of friendly farmyard favourites including sheep, pigs, horses, donkeys and chickens. There will probably be some new arrivals to see – always a highlight for kids! Before they leave, youngsters will want to try milking the plastic cow and check out the combine harvester and tractor with tubes and slides.
Head outside to Follywood Country Park to see llama, shire horses, deer, lots of pigs and more. Hop on the land train for a tour of the country park or follow the nature trail before you continue exploring. You will find plenty of things to do in the huge indoor play centre, Carousel Woods, and various outdoor playgrounds. Challenge the family at karting on the Follystone Racetrack, get moving on the pedal tractors and have a go on CAT mini diggers – perfect for would-be construction workers of all ages!
When you can drag the kids away, make your way to the zoo and discover over 60 different species, some of which are amongst the world’s most endangered. Encounter a variety of exotic creatures including lions, penguins, rhinos, ibis, iguanas, snakes and the only giraffes in Wales. Find out more about the animals on the Zoolympic Challenge Trail and at keeper talks and feeding demonstrations.
The whole family will have a great time at the Vintage Funfair featuring a large collection of rides and stalls, all carefully restored. Try the Royal Coronation Speedway, the Rock ’n’ Roll Waltzer, the dodgems and even a giant big wheel. Magic shows offer yet more kids entertainment over school holidays.
Planning a staycation or short break? Folly Farm’s holiday park has something to suit everyone. Choose from luxury lodges, showman’s wagons, touring pitches and a campsite.
Additional charges apply for certain activities.

Plenty to do at Folly Farm- lots of animals to see , plenty of play areas for the children and loads of food outlets. Plenty of picnic areas to take your own food. Inside areas are great if the weather isn't too good including a fun fair (you do need to buy extra tickets but not bad prices). We have been now 4 times and will go again this summer 👍
