The Royal Welsh Museum

Discover the story of some of the famous regiments in the British army on a visit to the Royal Welsh Museum in Brecon, Powys. The Royal Welsh is made up of antecedent regiments, which have seen action in many well-known events over the last 400 years, including the British campaign in South Africa.

Highlights include the Zulu War Collection, displays on the first and second world wars and Victoria Crosses awarded during the Anglo-Zulu War. See models and military artefacts such as weapons, medals and uniforms.
