Mums Go Free for Mother’s Day at Hogshaw Farm 

Why not celebrate Mother’s Day with a wonderful family day out at Hogshaw Farm & Wildlife Park near Milton Keynes in Buckinghamshire this March? On Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th March mums have free farm entry (one free adult per booking).

The whole family will find plenty to explore and do in the 44 acres of land. Meet UK rare breed farm animals and European wildlife. Watch the flying bird display. One of the highlights for young visitors is sure to be the daily Animal Encounter Programme – a great chance to get up close to the animals and learn more about them.

International Women’s Day at RHS Garden Bridgewater

International Women’s Day is on 8th March which this year coincides with Mother’s Day Weekend. Visit RHS Garden Bridgewater on Saturday and Sunday 9th and 10th March to celebrate women in horticulture.

The event will include talks from women who have careers in horticulture as well as women in the garden’s horticultural teams. Meet Yaz, a local champion of ginnel gardening and Idle Women– an artist-led community interest company who are creating the first dedicated women’s physic garden in the UK, in Nelson, Lancashire.
