Forest School at the Food Museum

Forest School at the Food Museum is a great opportunity for children aged 6 to 11 years, to enjoy the glorious woodlands.

This is a unique experience offering participants the opportunity to succeed and develop confidence through hands-on activities outdoors.

Children can enjoy using natural resources to stimulate their imagination, creativity and investigation. They will discover nature, make new friends and take part in woodland activities, crafts and cooking.

Suitable for unaccompanied children, aged 6 to 11 years, led by trained Forest School practitioners.

Held on the following dates:

January 26th, February 16th and 23rd, March 22nd, April 5th, 12th and 26th, May 25th and 31st and June 28th.

Booking is essential.

Children should wear clothing to protect them from the weather, as well any chance of scrapes and cuts. Remember that woods are generally cooler.
