Looking for fun things to do in Powys? The whole family will enjoy a 16-mile return journey on the Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway. Narrow-gauge steam-hauled trains take visitors over a viaduct and river bridge, up the steep Golfa Bank and through lovely countryside. Trains can also be boarded at Welshpool Raven Square station (SY21 7LT).
