Tandridge Trust’s de Stafford Sports Centre in Caterham has a whole host of activities for all the family to enjoy in a relaxed environment. It’s a friendly sports centre with a gym, studio, swimming pool, sports hall and cafe. The swimming pool, which is a conventional four lane fitness pool, caters for a wide range of pool activities from endurance training to aqua aerobics and children’s parties.

It is a 25m swimming pool and offers swimming lessons for both children and adults, catering for all abilities. The multi-purpose sports hall offers a variety of youth sports, such as football and table tennis and is available to hire, including the equipment, with staff on standby. Dash is a fun, safe and stimulating environment for your children to spend the school holidays and sessions are held regularly. From 8.30am to 5pm the day camps provide a great way for 5 to 12 year olds to make friends, keep fit and above all, enjoy themselves.

They also provide a half day to suit your needs. Each day is different and can be made up of activities such as swimming, football, cricket, tennis, team games or arts and crafts. Each activity is supervised by qualified and friendly staff – many of whom have been returning to Dash term after term. As well as fun activities, there are themed days which might include visits from Surrey Police or the Fire Brigade. 11 to 13 year olds can make use of the special youth gym, which affords an hour session for children of all abilities and with tailored programmes and supervision. Birthdays are great fun celebrated at de Stafford Sports Centre, and children have a choice of these, such as bouncy castles parties, swimming parties, trampoline parties and more.
