You can also race your friends and family down Surf, the three-lane slide.
The Spectrum also houses an Olympic-sized ice skating rink, which is open all year round. For smaller skaters you can hire some fun penguin or snowman skating aids. If you are looking for a bit of friendly competition there is a 32-lane Tenpin Bowling Centre which is guaranteed fun and excitement.
Other facilities include a three-storey soft play area named Specky’s Pirate Ship, indoor climbing facilities with Rock Box, health and fitness facilities, a sports arena and athletics stadium with football pitch.
Children have a great selection of birthday party packages to choose from, as well as organised holiday activities. This May half term is packed full of activities at Guildford Spectrum Leisure Complex in Surrey. Held from the 30th May to the 5th of June.
I visited Guildford Spectrum with my friend and 3 children between us. We booked for swimming, bowling and ice skating, it was so much fun and great value for money ! When we booked our tickets we were advised to have the swimming as the last activity, which was great advice as ice skating wouldn't have been so enjoyable. Everyone was shattered at the end of the day looking to do the same again over the Summer holidays.
