Sail across to the Isle of Wight with the Red Jets and discover over 25 beaches, 50 attractions and 100s of miles of countryside waiting to be explored.

Walk straight from the Hi-Speed Red Jets into the popular sailing town of Cowes. A bustling high street adorned with bunting and flowers. Cowes offers a variety of boutique shops selling everything from fashion and art to homeware and jewellery. Discover a plethora of great places to eat and drink in town, as well as great outside places for a picnic.

Check out Northwood House for its rolling green, Lawn Bar, tennis courts and playpark – just a 10-minute walk from the ferry. Or walk along the esplanade to Gurnard, where you’ll find a green, beach, pub and playpark with unparalleled Solent views the length of the waterfront.

Dogs, bikes and prams are all welcome aboard the Red Jets. You will also find plenty of great family and dog friendly activities, restaurants and cafes wherever you go.

The Island offers over 500-miles of foot and cycle paths for getting around, as well as a regular Southern Vectis bus service connecting the Island. From the Red Jet terminal, you will find the nearest stop just 2-minute walk away at Terminus Road, right outside M&S Food. The number 1 will take you directly to Newport Bus Station. There you can connect with buses to the rest of the Island. A 24 or 48 hour Rover is a great option for visitors, or tap on and off the bus as required. Simply ask your driver about the best fare for you.

Onboard facilities

Onboard the Red Jets you’ll find comfortable seating, a luggage area and carriage for bikes. There are also a selection of hot and cold drinks and snacks. WiFi and charge points are available to ensure a smooth crossing.
