The whole family will enjoy a day out at Powis Castle, an impressive medieval fortress near Welshpool in Powys. Discover a fine collection of paintings, sculpture and furniture as well as fabulous treasures from India and the Far East in the castle. Then head outside to explore the stunning Grade I listed garden with its Italianate terraces and clipped yews. There is a garden trail for children.
