Painshill

Visit Painshill for a great family day out!

Enjoy the 18^th century landscape garden where you are invited to walk around a work of art. Winding paths will take you on a journey to discover a living masterpiece with simply stunning views and beautifully placed follies.

Stroll around their Serpentine Lake, wander through woodland and come across  buildings, including the Ruined Abbey, Gothic Temple and an incredible sparkling Crystal Grotto.

For families there is a natural play area and wildlife spotting cards, as well as plenty of wildflower meadows to run around in and get back to nature. An annual programme of events includes children’s trails, an Easter egg hunt and festivals celebrating each season.

Dogs are welcome at Painshill on short leads.

You can spend a whole day at Painshill or there are shorter accessible routes. Take along a picnic basket or visit one of the Painshill cafes.

They are open April to October, 10am to 6pm, November to March, 10am to 4pm. Closed 25th and 26th December.
