We knew very little about the New Forest Wildlife Park before we went, but we were looking to go somewhere that we hadn't been before and after checking out their website we decided to give it a go - we were not disappointed! The Park had a very relaxed atmosphere and we obviously timed it right because almost all of the animals were out and about and in the mood to entertain! Of all the animals on show, the otters were (rather predictably) the highlight, very playful and energetic (we even had to pop back for a second visit at the end of our trip to see a bit more of the action!). This is nicely sized wildlife park, not too big but with plenty to see, easily enough to keep everyone entertained for at least half a day, and loads of large adventure playgrounds thrown in for the kids for good measure. Timing is probably quite key, we thought that maybe the animals got a bit more sleepy after feeding time so best to get there beforehand (and in time to watch) if you can. Really nice place to stumble across.
