For a free place to go with kids in Powys, check out Llanidloes Museum, co-located with Llanidloes Library in the Town Hall building. This small free museum of local history and industry tells the story of the Borough of Llanidloes over the last three centuries. Exhibits are amongst the library shelves. Find out about the lead mines and the woollen industry. See diorama cases showing a recreated Victorian naturalist’s study, kitchen and parlour complete with furniture and household items.
