Discover the traditions of Oak Apple Day on a family day out at Windsor Castle in Berkshire this May half term. Learn about Charles II and his fight to save the monarchy. Find out how he escaped and about the story of the Restoration.

Head to Pug Yard Learning Centre to make a badge to mark Oak Apple Day and use decorated leaves, acorns and apples to display your allegiance to King Charles II. Maybe make your own nature-inspired crown to wear.

Don’t forget to collect a family trail to help you explore the Castle itself.

On Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturdays only, from 23rd to 30th May.
