If your child has ever wanted to explore the museum after dark, or if the idea of spending the night in one of the iconic galleries fills them with excitement, then they’ll love Astronights, the Science Museum’s sleepover for children.

With workshops, shows and activities—rounded off with breakfast and an interactive science show to boost their morning energy—it will be a night they never forget!

You can attend on the following dates:

Fridays: 17 April, 5 June
Saturdays: 7 March, 2 May

Doors open at 18:45 and the night ends at 10am the following morning.

What to Bring

Your young campers will need to bring a sleeping bag and a packed evening snack, plus any personal items. Also, don’t bring any valuable items if you can help it.

Sleeping Arrangements

Your children and family will all stay together over night, in one of the galleries. The museum provides sleeping mats, so please don’t bring camp beds or air mattresses. There is boy/girl segregation for sleeping areas but everyone will be in the same gallery.

Book now!

The 460 places available each night do fill up quickly because of this event’s popularity, so make sure you book soon to secure your stay. Tickets are £60 per person. Visit the website to book for you and your family.
