Even though most rides are suitable for older children, there is also a lot of fun around for the younger thrill seeker. Children can experience their first roller coaster ride on the Flying Fish, a perfect family ride for roller coaster novices. Or Quantum, the Resort’s magic carpet ride. Of course there are wet rides for younger children too, and there are some popular family ones such as Wet Wet Wet and a four lane super slide called Depth Charge.

Remember to take your swimming costumes for Amity Beach, where you can chill out and paddle in the pool. To enjoy a longer break at Thorpe Park, there’s an onsite hotel that provides fun rooms and a big breakfast, getting you ready for the second day which comes free when you stay overnight.

Most rides at the park are age and height restricted, and in some cases, parental discretion is advised. The beach area is only for families. Tickets purchased online are at a reduced rate.
