Ponderosa Zoo

Ponderosa Zoo is located in Heckmondwike, West Yorkshire and is home to over 100 animals including ring-tailed lemurs,  meerkats, exotic animals, small mammals, birds and reptiles.

The zoo is passionate about promoting animal welfare, and aims to educate visitors on conservation efforts and the threats many species now face in the wild. Most of the family of animals are the result of rescue and conservation missions and preservation lies at the very heart of the zoo’s ethos.

Let your little ones run wild on the specially designed outdoor adventure playground. The kids can climb, jump, slide and swing as you relax at one of the many picnic benches overlooking the play area.
