Moorways Sports Village & Water Park

Moorways Sports Village and Water Park in Derby offers a great range of exciting activities to keep you and your family active.

Moorways Water Park is the jewel in its crown and an amazing family destination. It is here that you will be able to enjoy the centre’s headline features. These include the three flumes and slides, as well as a beach-style leisure pool which hosts a wave generating Wow Ball. There’s a racer multi-slide where you can race your friends and family, a wave rider, and a water playground with mini-slides for the little ones.

There are two further swimming pools at Moorways, including a 50-metre main pool with a movable floor, and a learner pool with sensory lighting and a portable iSwim hoist. This provides younger swimmers with the perfect place to try the water for the first time to take part in Everyone Active’s award-winning swimming lessons. The swim teachers are all Swim England (or equivalent) qualified, and swimming lessons are available for any age from just four months old.

The only way to make the water even more fun is with the large Atlantis pool inflatable, designed specifically for children aged five years and over. Find out whether you have the balance to stay on the inflatables without falling into the pool!

However, if you would prefer to stay on dry land, the centre also boasts two fantastic soft play areas to help keep small children entertained, and expend some of their energy!

Finally, for the grown-ups in the family, there’s also the state-of-the-art gym, three group exercise studios and the sauna and steam room. Visit the café on site to refuel the family after all the fun and activity.
