Jake's Playbarn and Mini Farm

One of the fun places for family days out in Berkshire is Jake’s Playbarn and Mini Farm. Families will find plenty of kids activities in over 19 acres of beautiful countryside.

The giant Indoor Playbarn is suitable for children up to 11 years. It is 3 floors high with a 3-lane wave slide, a snake slide, aerial glider, ball cannons, a mini football court and a brand new interactive games mat! Also there is a designated area for under 4s with a slide, climbing areas, interactive panels and even a sensory area for babies.

Head outside to meet (and maybe even feed) some of the furry and feathered resident friends of Jake’s Mini Farm. Encounter goats, alpacas, pigs, sheep, mini Shetland ponies, chickens, guinea fowl and peacocks. See guinea pigs, ferrets, rabbits, and even Victor, Jake’s giant tortoise!

The two large fishing lakes offer lovely walks. Follow the obstacle course, visit the bird watching towers and have fun with the tooth fairy door hunt and animal passports to stamp. With a large playground, mini fun farm and construction site, you’ll find something for the whole family.

Picnic areas offer facilities for outdoor eating or treat the family in the restaurant serving hot and cold drinks, snacks and meals. At Jake’s peak times you can also enjoy regular animal handling sessions, panning for gold and a mini train ride. Don’t forget to check out the busy programme of school holiday activities as well.

Opening times

Jake’s Indoor Playbarn and Mini Farm are closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
