One of the best family days out in West Yorkshire can be experienced at Harewood, there is something to suit families with children of all ages.
The magnificent house and gardens dating back to 1759 is one of Yorkshire’s finest, set in the wonderful Yorkshire landscape and children will love the adventure playground. The house is as much about today as the historical state rooms and there are contemporary art exhibitions and an educational centre.
There are over 100 acres of gardens, explore the walled garden, journey through the Himalayan Garden or take a picnic and enjoy the open space of the country park. There is always a full events programme with lots of interesting and fun activities for families especially at Christmas time.
