Half Term Adventure at Brockholes This February details...

There is lots of fun and adventure on offer at Brockholes this February half term from Saturday 16th until Sunday 24th February. Think ahead, don’t let the kids drift through the week, check out the list of great activities that will make it a half term full of active fun. These are just some of the family activities to choose from –

Den Building – build a Den Village in the Woodland! Take part in some games and challenges to win extra materials for your den and let your imagination run wild. Advance booking is required for Tuesday 19th February at 2pm – 4pm, cost £18 per family

Withy Lantern making – make your own withy lantern to light these dark, winter evenings! This is a drop-in event, so no booking is necessary. Sessions starts at  10am until 12noon and then 1pm until 3pm. Saturday 16th – Monday 18th February cost is £3.50 per lantern.

Forest School Family Fun – a half term taster session for families to experience a Forest School session together at Brockholes, an environmental activity, snack time in the woodland (included in ticket) and an opportunity for play and discovery. Thursday 21st February at 2pm – 4pm, £18 per family

Xplorer Challenge – Explore Brockholes, find the themed markers, complete the challenge, have fun together! Provided in partnership with British Orienteering, the Xplorer is the perfect outdoor activity to get the whole family outside in the fresh air together! Saturday 16th – Sunday 24th February 2019 at 10am – 3pm, cost: £3 per pack.

Fairy Jars – Go along to the regular drop in craft sessions with a nature and environmental theme when you can  design and make your own Fairy Jar! There is no need to book, Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th February at  10am – 3pm, cost is £3.50 per jar.

Wild Families Go Pirating – Get your scruffy togs on for a swashbuckling adventure for all the family when the Wild Families activities are designed to get the whole family outside and working together! Children must be accompanied by an adult with a ticket. Under 2’s are free but must book a ticket. Friday 22nd February at 2pm – 4pm, cost is £18 per family.
