Lightpool Festival in Blackpool

Families of all ages will be captivated by the mix of light installations, live performances and mesmerising 3D projection shows at the award-winning Lightpool Festival in Blackpool this October half term. Most of the festival is free to enjoy.

Visit landmarks throughout the town and discover the magic of light as Lightpool Festival celebrates its ten-year anniversary.

On display will be a total of 30 artworks, creating a magical experience in the seaside town. Follow the free light art trail and join in free community activities. Alongside returning favourites are ten completely new artworks, one for every year of the festival’s history.

Don’t miss the impressive ten-metre tapestry, depicting the town’s history. Also, enjoy the legendary Carnival Magic show on Monday 26th October at the Tower Ballroom, with giant puppets, amazing costumes, stunning choreography and drumming (book in advance, charge applies for the show).
