Dust off your best fancy dress costumes and catch the Halloween Ghost Trains at East Lancashire Railway on 29th, 30th and 31st October 2026. Pluck up your courage and help Zombie Bob and the Monster Squad solve the mystery of the Swamp Monster of Irwell Vale! For weeks there have been reports of strange noises and even sightings of a shadowy creature creeping through the swamp.
Your Halloween adventure will start with making it through the Halloween Walkthrough on the footbridge. On the platform you will be greeted by Halloween characters Vampire Brian and Veronica the Witch. Once on board the Scream Train, expect flickering lights, spooky surprises, wacky monsters, and some jump scares.
