Witley Court offers a lovely day out with children in Worcestershire. Listen to the audio tour as you wander through the ruins of this glorious 19th-century mansion, ravaged by fire in 1937. Explore the wilderness and landscaped gardens with a breathtaking fountain. There are children’s activity sheets, a play area and geocaching.

The ruins of the mansion are really atmospheric and a short walk from the visitor centre. Listening to the audioguide - which was free - might be more for older kids and adults but there's lots of room to run around in the gardens and the fountain is really impressive. We ran out of time so didn't try the walks in the woodland or the play area.
