Thrift Farm in Buckinghamshire offers work-based support to clients with learning disabilities and mental health issues, who work across all areas of the farm to build their skills and independence. The highly skilled and specialist members of staff support clients and help them to progress in their chosen areas. By visiting Thrift Farm you will also be supporting the great work they do with their clients.
Come and meet a whole host of different creatures: from the traditional farm livestock of sheep, goats, pigs and chickens to the more exotic rheas and alpacas. Also home to smaller animals, such as rabbits and guinea pigs.
Why not make a day of it? Bring a picnic or pick up some lunch boxes from Food4Thought Café, then relax and lunch alfresco on the Farm Park whilst watching the little ones play on the traditional wooden climbing frame or on the antique tractor.
The gift shop sells delicious free range eggs, from the chickens, ducks and geese at the farm, as well as Thrift Farm produced meat and also a range of toys, cards and gifts at amazing prices and much more.
Food4Thought Café is ready to welcome you seven days a week serving delicious homemade food and drinks at great prices. They have created a more vibrant experience offering greater space, more comfortable seating, a children’s play area plus plenty of decking outside for the warmer months. There’s no charge to visit the Café, so call in any time you’re passing.

Farm Park is closed weekdays from November to end of January. Food4Thought Café is open all year round.
