The Commandery details...

The Commandery in Worcester is a fascinating place to visit. The past comes to life for all ages in this beautiful 12th-century building that was the Royalist Headquarters during the Battle of Worcester in 1651.

Visitors can look forward to an interactive experience that will transport them back to Worcester during the Civil War. Find out what life was like for soldiers 300 miles from home, encounter Oliver Cromwell and get to grips with battle strategy. Learn about weapons and enjoy historic displays.
