One of the fun places to go in Dorset is The Blue Pool Nature Reserve & Tearooms, located in the Furzebrook Estate on the Isle of Purbeck. Visitors can explore over 30 acres of nature-filled paths and walkways, including the UK’s longest rope bridge, which spans 50 metres and offers stunning views of the reserve.
A favourite among families, this historic and scenic site features a magical Gnome & Fairy Trail where children can find tiny fairy doors and friendly gnomes. There is also an adventure play area for young explorers. The vintage-style Tearooms, established in 1935, retain their original charm and offer teas, coffees, cakes, lunches, and traditional afternoon teas with homemade scones. There is also a gift shop and a plant centre.
Please see the website of The Blue Pool Nature Reserve & Tearooms for opening hours and other details.
