Spot the rare birds on a day out at RSPB Leighton Moss, the popular nature reserve located in the largest reed bed in the north west. Pack a picnic and dedicate a day to follow the nature trails, view from the seven different hides and find out more about the wildlife through binoculars that you can hire from the visitor centre.
Children can take out an xplorer packs and you can enjoy regular family friendly events.
Children under 5 years have free entry and there is free entry for the first child. Entrance to the reserve is half price for non-members arriving by public transport or bicycle. Visitors can enter the cafe and visitor centre for free, please see website for current opening times.
