Millets Farm Centre

A fun day out at Millets Farm Centre in Oxfordshire is sure to be a winner with the whole family. Onsite there is a farm shop, garden centre, craft shop, fishing lakes, restaurants, children’s farm zoo, Sprouts Play Barn, play area, falconry centre and Phoebe Wood, perfect for picnics and walks.

Head for the farm zoo to meet pigs, cattle, poultry, sheep, ponies, goats and more unusual animals such as alpacas and rheas. Next to the farm zoo is the play area with slides, swings and other play equipment. Meanwhile, Sprouts Play Barn has an exciting four-tier play frame, a floor piano, sports court and Farmers Market role-play zone.

In the summer months, from June to September, there are over 50 acres of crops for ’pick your own’ harvesting. Encourage an interest in food and nature by taking the kids along to help select fruit and vegetables for supper.

Follow the walkway through the farm zoo to reach ten-acre Phoebe Wood, part of the National Trafalgar Wood Project. Enjoy a family walk through this wetland area alongside the River Ock, stopping for a picnic along the way.

Pop into Millets Craft Shack to find a wonderful selection of art and craft items – a great way to inspire creativity. The Craft Shack is a lovely place for a kids crafty party! The Farm Shop is packed with fresh, local food while green-fingered family members will find lots of interest at Webbs Garden Centre. Millets Farm Falconry Centre is home to over 70 birds of prey and offers daily displays.

There’s an exciting year-round programme of special events and seasonal activities for kids and families including shows and entertainment, craft workshops, a fete, summer maize maze and Santa’s Grotto.

Millets Farm Centre is a taste of the countryside at its natural best with something for all ages, from toddlers to grandparents.
