Dress up warm and with sturdy footwear for the tour that starts at George’s Dock Building and takes you under the city streets of Liverpool and under the River Mersey. Older children over 10 years can experience a behind the scenes look at this masterpiece of engineering, see the control room, fan chambers and escape safety refuges. The 2 hour tour takes place on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings at 5pm, and Saturday mornings at 10am and must be booked in advance.
