Have a great day out in Dorset and visit Highcliffe Castle in Christchurch. Built between 1831 and 1836, the Castle, once lavishly furnished in the 18th-century French style, remained a family home until the 1950s but in the late 1960s, two fires rendered the building derelict. The now partially restored castle holds regular children’s holiday craft days.
