Ham Hill Country Park details...

Families will find lots to see and do at Ham Hill Country Park near Yeovil in South Somerset. Enjoy the fresh air as you explore 390 acres of wildflower meadows, woodlands, paths and bridleways and more, centred on an Iron Age hill fort with steeply sloping ramparts.

It is one of the most geologically important sites in Somerset as it is the only place where the beautiful golden rock hamstone can be found. Activities include spotting wildlife and plants, walking and orienteering. There is a permanent orienteering course and a Ham Hill Orienteering Pack is available to download before you visit.
