Go Ape at Matfen, just 15 miles west of Newcastle Upon Tyne, was one of first adventures to be built in the grounds of a country house hotel. It is nestled within one of the UK’s most unspoilt areas of natural beauty.
Swing through the trees and fly down the zip wires while enjoying some of the finest scenery in Northumberland. The site offers the Treetop Challenge on a 30ft-high course with high platforms, zip wires and Tarzan Swings suitable for older children and adults. You can also try Axe Throwing.
