Rich in wildlife and steeped in history, Flat Holm is a stunning island situated in the Bristol Channel, just five miles from Cardiff. This tiny island is less than half a mile wide. Short day visits offer up to three hours to explore the island.
In 2025 day trips to Flat Holm can be arranged through Bay Island Voyages sailing from Mermaid Quay in Cardiff Bay (07393 470476) and Cardiff Cruises sailing from Penarth (0845 489 6969). An interesting day out in South Wales.
