Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens details...

Stroll around the Park and get eye-to-eye with giraffe, walk with lemurs and watch rhinos grazing on the Manor House lawns. With over 260 different animal species in over 120 acres there’s plenty of space to relax and get closer to wildlife. The Cotswold Wildlife Park & Gardens in Oxfordshire offers a memorable day out for all ages.

The glorious gardens and stunning picturesque Cotswold parkland make a beautiful backdrop to the animals. You’ll even find cacti, bananas and exotic planting in the Walled Garden during the summer months

Highlights for young visitors are likely to include watching the daily penguin feeding at 11am and 3pm and the lemur talk and feed at 12 noon. The friendly pygmy goats in the children’s farmyard are sure to be a hit with everyone.

Meanwhile, in the tropical house are free roaming birds, bats, sloths and potoroos. The reptile collection is one of the largest in the UK with snakes, tortoises, lizards and crocodiles. From April to October, visitors can take a ride on Bella the train. Be sure and allow plenty of time for the kids to make the most of the Park’s large treehouse adventure playground.

There is no need to leave four-legged family members at home. Dogs are welcome on lead under adult control to most of the Park except indoors and areas with free-ranging animals and birds.

Finally, when it’s time to refuel, head to the Restaurant serving hot food and drinks and kiosks around the Park. You’ll find children and toddler sized portions of adult food and even a microwave to warm baby food and milk.

Opening times

The Park is open from 10am daily, all year round except Christmas Day, 25th December.
