Catch a tram to the cobbled street of the 1900s Town, meet pit ponies and go underground into the drift mine, discover life on the Home Front and ride on an early steam train.

Explore the 1820s Pockerley, wander through the 1900s Pit Village, town and Colliery. Soak up the 1940s farm and step into the Front Street 1950s terrace.

At John’s cafe take a seat in the booths and eat delicious homemade ice cream whilst listening to the jukebox, or head to Davy’s Quality Fish and Chip shop.

See Rowley Station as it looked in Edwardian times including the signal box, waiting rooms and goods yard with a variety of wagons on display.
