A day out with Thomas the Tank Engine at South Devon Railway

Take your toddlers to visit everyone’s favourite Tank Engine! Have a wonderful day out with Thomas the Tank Engine at South Devon Railway in Buckfastleigh, Devon. He and his friends will be there to entertain you and take you on a lovely steam train journey between Buckfastleigh and Totnes Riverside stations. Little Treasures at The Bowes Museum

Add some new activities to your toddlers week with the playful Little Treasures toddler group that is held on Thursday mornings at 10am until 15th December 2022 at The Bowes Museum in Durham. It’s a great way to introduce little ones to the Museum in a fun and exciting way. They get to make a craft and explore the collections with stories and singing along the way. It’s also a chance to make new friends!

Teddy Bears Picnic at Avon Valley Railway

The Avon Valley Railway on the outskirts of Bristol is inviting children to travel for free on 17th-18th September if they take along their teddy bear with them. So reserve your seats and look forward to a train ride.

Little Locos at Locomotion Shildon

Taking place at Locomotion every month, Little Locos is a special session for young visitors aged 5 years and under. Little Locos is the perfect place for you and your little ones to play and learn together at the museum in Shildon. Little Locos sessions are free but booking is required, either in advance or on the day. You’ll need a Little Locos ticket as well as a general admission ticket. Little Locos tickets are released two weeks in advance.

Nature Tots at Abberton Reservoir Nature Discovery Park

Little ones can enjoy watching nature as the seasons change! They can have a go at a range of fun, wildlife-themed activities, such as bug hunting, leaf spotting, natural painting and stick creatures. Suitable for children aged 18-months to 5 years, together with an adult – one adult per paying child.

Tails from the Zoo at Plantasia

Make the most of your day out at Plantasia Tropical Zoo in Swansea by booking the kids into a magical storytelling session. Once a month in term time visitors can settle down in the jungle tree house and listen to a different story.

Toddler Boat at Dudley Canal & Caverns

A lovely outing in the West Midlands for under 5s (and their carers!). Dudley Canal & Tunnel Trust’s Toddler Boat offers a special 20-minute boat trip on every Wednesday throughout the year. Lucky passengers will either head underground into the tunnels or sail out onto the open canal.
