October Half Term at The Lunt Roman Fort

Check out what’s on for young explorers and their families at the Lunt Roman Fort near Coventry this October half term! From archery training to ghost-themed activities, there’s lots to interest families from 26th to 28th October.

Advance booking is required for some activities.

• Ready, Aim, Shoot! Meet people who lived and worked at the fort, learn how to fight like Rome’s archers and earn your training certificate. For ages 5-12 years but all are welcome.
• Roman Ghost Adventure. Join storytellers for fun interactive challenges inspired by life and death in Roman Britain. Find out about strange cures, solve a mini crime mystery and meet the Friendly Ghost of the Granary! Suitable for ages 6-10 years with accompanying adults. Booking is essential.
• Ghosts, Blood & Battle. This exciting 90-minute evening guided tour for older children, teenagers and adults is led by storytellers. Hear about ghostly encounters at The Lunt, what life in Roman Britain was really like and more. The tour will include a visit to Baginton Castle (weather permitting). Suitable for ages 10 years and over. Booking is essential.
