Santa Safari at West Midlands Safari Park

Get ready for an unforgettable Christmas adventure at West Midlands Safari Park’s Santa Safari, running on selected dates from 21st November to 24th December 2026. Combining immersive festive entertainment, wildlife encounters and magical Christmas moments, Santa Safari is a full-day adventure for the whole family.

One of Santa’s elves will meet you at the Discovery Trail and guide you through your magical North Pole adventure. First, enjoy a fantastical flight in the Enchanted Elevator across a snowy winter landscape and sparkling skies. Ring the doorbell to enter Santa’s Grotto – a cosy log cabin, pass on your Christmas wishes and have your photo taken by Santa’s Elves. Then head to the Elves’ Workshop to pick up your photo and let the children choose their own present.

Other festive activities include Storytime with Mrs Claus and, back by popular demand, the Christmas Panto. Performances of Sleeping Beauty will be showing on selected dates only from 18th to 31st December (check the West Midlands Safari Park website for times and other details).

In addition, there are lots of animal encounters on the Safari Drive and Safari Walk, daily talks, adventure play, a VR Sleigh Ride and Mrs Claus’ Crafts. Adding to the seasonal atmosphere, the Discovery Trail has become a Winter Wonderland with frosted trees and snow forecast every day!

A selection of rides will be open on selected dates during the winter period. Have fun on Snake Slide, Serengeti Gallopers, Apple Coaster and more. Some rides operate weather permitting only.
