Get everyone into the festive spirit with a family day out at Kenilworth Castle in Warwickshire in the run-up to Christmas. As well as exploring the magnificent site visitors can hear tales of Christmases in the past, including Arthurian legend Gawain and the Green Knight, and The Christmas Cherry Tree. Also have fun taking part in a mini panto in the interactive Harlequinades shows.
Why not include a visit to Father Christmas in your day out at Kenilworth Castle? Join the man himself for a group storytelling session and then meet him, take some photographs and the children will receive a gift. Tickets cost £9.50 per child in addition to admission charges.
