Autumn Half Term at the Severn Valley Railway

Why not include an adventure at the Severn Valley Railway in your plans for October half term? Trains will be running throughout the week from Saturday 24th October until Sunday 1st November. Board a heritage steam-hauled or diesel train and enjoy the views of the stations and the countryside in autumn. Break your journey at The Engine House Visitor Centre at Highley with its travelling post office – always popular with kids!

Special events during half term include:

• Christmas Gift Fayre at The Engine House Visitor Centre on 24th and 25th October.
• Train Time UK. There will be a giant train set at The Engine House Visitor Centre from 26th to 28th October.
• Ghost trains leave from Kidderminster in the early evening of 29th, 30th and 31st October. Snap some spooktacular photos at the station when you arrive, listen to Disco Daddy and travel on the ghost train to Arley – home of living dead! What eerie encounters will you experience on board the train?
