Top 14 children’s sci-fi and action films

On the 17th-20th May museums, galleries, observatories and historic spaces opened their doors late into the evening as part of Museums at Night. It was the chance to take part in special events and activities at UK historical places after hours, these events happen twice a year and the next one runs in October.

If you missed out on Museums at Night then why not grab the popcorn, build a fort and put on a film for a movie night? We’ve pulled together some children’s sci-fi and action films that will still make you feel like you could be exploring the mysterious of a museum or the stars. We’ve broken it down to films suitable for all ages but that the youngest kids will enjoy most and then those more likely to entertain the teenagers.
