Williamson Park

Have a family fun day at this lovely park close to Lancaster city centre and home to the iconic Ashton Memorial and 54 acres of park and woodland, with spectacular views across Morecambe Bay to the Lake District fells.

Enter the butterfly house to admire the tropical butterflies, explore the mini-beast cave to see what lurks there, visit the free flying bird enclosure and small animal garden (charges).

The Lancaster Sundial is an intriguing feature, see if you can tell the time. There is a great playground for the kids, all within glorious gardens and woodland trails. Entry to the park is free of charge.
