Waterworld Aqua Park - Stoke

It’s no surprise that Waterworld in Stoke-on-Trent is one of the most popular places to go with kids in North Staffordshire. One of the top indoor tropical aqua parks in the UK, this fabulous attraction offers an action-packed day out for all ages with plenty for both weak and strong swimmers. A great choice of slides, flumes and water rollercoasters provides endless entertainment for both thrillseekers and the less intrepid, from toddlers upwards.

Will you dare ride WaterWorld’s first water rollercoaster, Nucleus? Find out if you’re brave enough for the Twister, a white-knuckle ride to remember, and try out Thunderbolt, which is the first trap-door waterslide in the UK and one of four slides in Tornado Alley.

Younger kids will love attractions such as The Python, a water rollercoaster suitable for toddlers upwards. Race your friends to the finish line on the multi-lane slide, negotiate the assault course and have fun with the wave machine.

If you are planning a visit with small children, consider an off-peak period when the park is likely to be significantly quieter. At off-peak times there will be plenty of time to relax in the bubble pool and enjoy a leisurely swim in the wave pool. In summer, look out for the outdoor pool with lazy river ride.
