For a free family day out you must head to Victoria Park, one of London’s most important historic parks visited by millions of Londoners for nearly 170years. It’s a place of healthy recreations, sports, play and relaxation. There is a wide range of formal and informal sports, sponsored activities, events and festivals that take place throughout the year. The Victoria Park Splash Pool is open from 11m until 5pm from the last weekend in May until the first week in September, so it makes it the perfect place to take the kids in the school holidays.
