For a fascinating day out, take the kids to the Alexander Fleming Laboratory Museum in Westminster. See Fleming’s laboratory restored to its 1928 condition. Through displays and a video, children can explore the remarkable story of Fleming and his discovery of penicillin in this hospital, and one that earned him a Nobel Prize.
