Tropical Birdland

One of the best days out in Leicestershire can be enjoyed at Tropical Birdland in Desford where there is something for all the family.

The large garden park houses birds from all over the world, including toucans, macaws, cockatoos, owls and free flying parrots on the Parrot Path. There are walk through aviaries and natural woodland where you can spot kingfishers and woodpeckers and a chick nursery where you can watch chicks pecking their way out of the eggs.

The children will love the outdoor adventure playground where they can climb, swing, scramble and slide until they’ve run out of energy. Pack a picnic and find a table at the large family undercover picnic area to make your family day out just perfect.
